She joined SMUGGLER for worldwide representation in 2021 after seven years at Somesuch. Her commercial credits include Apple's "Capture," Squarespace's Super Bowl LVII spot "The Singularity" starring Adam Driver, Nike's "Dream With Us," Audi's "Daughter" (Super Bowl LI), Toyota's "Good Odds" (Super Bowl LII), Absolut's "Equal Love," Honda "Ignition," Samsung "Feel More," Playstation "Live the Game," Under Armour, Ford, Secret, and campaigns for Electric Ireland/GAA, Confused.com, Diesel, Levis, and GQ. Her work has earned a D&AD Graphite Pencil for Best Direction, the CICLOPE Grand Prix, multiple Cannes Lions including Film Craft honors, British Arrows, Clios, AICP Awards, ADC Awards, and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Commercial. She directed and produced three episodes of Apple TV+'s Emmy-winning "Severance" (earning a DGA nomination), two episodes of Peacock's "Brave New World," and wrote/directed the debut feature "Kissing Candice" (TIFF 2017, Berlinale 2018). Her 2021 short film and installation "All of This Unreal Time," starring Cillian Murphy, premiered at Manchester International Festival and earned a Tribeca nomination. She has directed music videos for Jon Hopkins (UKMVA winner), U2, Coldplay, Bicep, James Vincent McMorrow, and Bryan Ferry. McArdle received an IFTA Rising Star Award and BBC Studios Director Award in 2023 and has been named to Campaign Magazine's International Top Ten Commercial Directors.
