Andy McLeod is a British commercial director working with Rattling Stick in the UK and US, with nearly two decades behind the camera after a storied career as one of the UK's top advertising creatives. Before directing, McLeod co-founded Fallon London and spent years at BMP DDB creating iconic campaigns including Marmite's enduring "Love It. Hate It." platform and the D&AD Black Pencil-winning Doritos idents. Since joining Rattling Stick in 2006, McLeod has built a directing reel known for sharp observational humour, brilliant casting, and strong performances across comedy, emotional storytelling, and narrative work. His clients include Thinkbox, Volkswagen, Amazon, Mulberry, Cesar, British Airways, Virgin Money, and Ed Sheeran (whose "Beautiful People" music video garnered over 300 million YouTube views). McLeod's work has earned a D&AD Pencil, repeated Cannes Lions shortlists, British Arrows Bronze, Creative Circle Gold, and four consecutive years in Campaign's Top 10 Directors. He champions idea-first thinking, in-camera craft over post fixes, and what he calls "the economic value of fun and silliness," while resisting pigeonholing despite a notable specialty in animal-driven comedy. His directorial philosophy centers on making good scripts better through collaboration and delegation.
