Andrew Renzi is a director, writer, and producer whose work spans Sundance narrative shorts, features, and documentary series for major streamers. Born in Washington, D.C., he attended Brown University and entered film as a producer on Afterschool, Two Gates of Sleep, and Sympathy for Delicious. His shorts The Fort (2011) and Karaoke! (2013) both premiered at Sundance and collected the Panavision Future Filmmaker Award. He directed the Sotheby's-commissioned 16mm documentary Fishtail (2014, Tribeca) and wrote and directed The Benefactor (2015) with Richard Gere, Dakota Fanning, and Theo James. Nonfiction credits include They Fight (2018, Fox, with Common), Ready for War (2019, Showtime/Drake; TIFF; Chicago IFF audience award), Hulu's The Curse of Von Dutch (Variety Best Doc Series 2021), and Netflix's Pepsi, Where's My Jet? (Critics Choice Award, Best Limited Series), plus Monster Inside, Untold: Jake Paul, and aka Charlie Sheen. He founded North of Now and in 2023 signed a multi-year overall deal with Boardwalk Pictures. Joining Prettybird in 2019, branded work includes Facebook S.O.S. | Courtney and an EP credit on Give Converse with Pete Davidson. working with Prettybird (US/UK), WME, and Lichter Grossman.
