Andrew Litten is a Los Angeles–based director and editor whose commercials blend documentary intimacy with dreamlike narrative craft. Formed in Atlanta’s skate, music, and underground fashion scenes, he launched as a commercial director at Voyager before joining Stink Films in the US, modest dept. in Germany (2023), and Dear Friend for Canada (2025). Recent work includes Salvation Army’s “Impossible Choices” (2025, Grey), an observational poverty portrait rejecting planned POV in favor of Dardenne Brothers–style character intimacy and what he called a “dampness of imagery”; BCNU’s “Holidays Look Different for Nurses”; Northwestern Medicine’s “Always” (Young Director Award–nominated); Air National Guard’s “Duality”/“Why I Serve”; Extended Stay America’s “That Feels Like Home”; 1800 Tequila’s “1800 Seconds” with Pusha T; Spotify with Anderson .Paak; Taco Bell; and P&G’s multi-country employee film “Day 1” (2018). Roster credits also cite Google, Airbnb, Vans, Kellogg’s, and Mercedes-Benz. Stink frames him as “equal parts documentarian and surrealist”; modest dept. EPs call his superpower blending “close-to-human documentary style with commercial filmmaking.” He co-edits via House Post. Recognition includes Clios, Cannes Lions Young Director Award, Camerimage, Shots, 1.4, and Young Guns.
