Andrés Salmoyraghi is an award-winning Argentine director based in Madrid. He began in advertising at 18 as a producer at Agulla & Baccetti before joining Santo Buenos Aires in 2005 as creative producer, working with Unilever and Coca-Cola on shoots across London, Cape Town, New York, Los Angeles, São Paulo, Toronto, Madrid, and Barcelona. After studying at Centro de Investigación Cinematográfica in Argentina and New York Film Academy, he began directing at Rebolucion in 2009. His commercial work includes campaigns for Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Got Milk, Walmart, Netflix, Uber Eats, DirecTV, and Lotería de Navidad. Salmoyraghi won his first Cannes Lion in 2010, the Cannes Young Directors Award in 2012, and was named Best Director in Argentina at the 2013 Ojo de Iberoamérica, where he also won Gold. Additional honors include recognition at The One Show, New York Festival, Wave Festival Rio, FIAP Miami, and Grand Prix at El Sol de San Sebastián. He is currently working on his first feature film Cool Books, a tragicomedy co-directed with Rafael López Saubidet, set to shoot in summer 2026.
