Anders Bundgaard is a Copenhagen-based commercial director who entered advertising in 2017 after a professional football career ended by knee injury. His breakthrough Interflora spot “The Great Mom Experiment” (Brandhouse/The Woerks) earned a Eurobest Film Bronze and an Advertising Effectiveness Award. Follow-on brand work includes SAS “New Routes,” Carlsberg films, the 2019 LEGO x Netflix Stranger Things campaign (Creative Circle Gold and Silver), and Danish Cancer Society’s “Blame Game.” TV2 broadcast promos have been heavily awarded: a Clio Grand Prix for the X-Factor promo; Clio Silver for Best Direction (plus copy and social metals) on Winter Olympics work; and multiple ProMax Golds, including Best Direction, for Tour de France spots. Recent roster commercials span QSR and CPG comedy—Shreddies “Here’s to the Squares,” Burger King “Long Chicken,” McDonald’s “McCrispy,” Cocio “The Blizzard,” Tuborg “The No-Show”—plus JYSK retail films, Leo Vegas “The Beaver,” Wavin “The Wind,” telecom 3 “La Famiglia Mobile,” NKT “Dane Proof,” and Class Lottery “Vinderglæde 1753.” Bios describe genre-bending thirty-second narratives between realism and absurdity, with subtle casting and comedy performance. He is repped by Storyroom (Denmark), ArtClass (UK), and Dear Friend (Canada); KIND Film lists him in Copenhagen.
