Alex/2Tone is a commercial director and creative director based in Los Angeles, co-founder of the streetwear brand Born X Raised, and currently working with RESET Content in the US. He directed Vans' 2024 "Always Pushing" brand anthem, a 60-second global campaign shot across Los Angeles, Paris, and Tokyo featuring skaters Zion Wright, Lizzie Armanto, Curren Caples, Tony Alva, and photographer Atiba Jefferson, soundtracked by Paris Texas. The film earned praise from The Impression for "boundary-pushing cinematography and editing techniques." Working directly with Vans' CMO and Creative Director without traditional agency intermediaries, Alex/2Tone delivered what SGB Media called "an ode to the free-spirited attitude of progression." His client roster includes Nike, Gatorade, Powerade ("What It Takes" campaign featuring Flau'jae), and Poppi (Super Bowl LX campaign with Charli XCX). He won a Sports Emmy for the NFL Super Bowl LX 'Champion' campaign. Rooted in West Side LA skateboard and streetwear culture, he builds kinetic, music-driven narratives with frequent DP Mike Koziel, mapping energy graphs during pre-production and prioritizing authentic casting over conventional beauty. He also co-hosts the Powerful Truth Angels podcast.
