Adi Halfin is a Berlin-based commercial and dance-film director who builds brand storytelling around choreography and bodies in motion. Born in Jerusalem and raised between Israel and London, she graduated with honours from the Sam Spiegel Film School; narrative shorts screened at Cannes and Berlinale, and she worked as first assistant director to Amos Gitai. She is rostered with Chelsea Pictures (US) and Lief (UK), with European presence via Rejell and no.agency. Documented advertising includes McDonald’s McCrispy and McCafé (DDB Poland/Dobro), CALIA for Dick’s Sporting Goods (‘There’s Beauty in the Burn,’ Directors Notes We Are DN Dance nominee), Answear ‘Warmth,’ Volkswagen’s 100% Electric ID.3 (Dentsu), Marshall Headphones, Daikin, Burgenland Energie/Bessere Energie, eToro, and Toyota Start Your Impossible shorts—Dergin Tokmak (One Club Documentary Award; Cannes shortlist; LBB) and Atita Verghese. Chelsea also lists Samsung. Her commercial signature is movement-led: gym-dance hybrid for CALIA, choreographic lifestyle for Answear and Marshall, EV work for Volkswagen, and docu portraits for Toyota. Earlier, Home Alone for Batsheva collected roughly ten prizes including Best Commercial at the LA Film Awards. She has juried D&AD and AICP and teaches dance-film workshops internationally.
