Adam Berg is a Swedish director whose work spans commercials, features, and music videos. He gained worldwide recognition when his 2009 Philips "Carousel" became the first online ad to win the Cannes Lions Film Grand Prix—a 139-second single-shot tracking sequence through a frozen heist scene shot on 35mm with motion-controlled rigs. Since then, Berg has directed award-winning campaigns for Apple, Nike, Uber, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Samsung, DHL, Max, Crocs, Delta Airlines, Budweiser, IKEA, and Gillette, earning multiple Cannes Lions, D&AD Pencils, Clio Awards, British Arrows, and AICP honors. His commercial work combines technical innovation—VFX integration, POV cinematography, complex choreography—with emotionally resonant storytelling. Notable spots include Uber's "Boxes" (200+ extras in Bangkok), DHL's "License to Deliver" (Bond-inspired), Max's "Dive In" (colliding fantasy worlds), and Volvo's "Epilogue" (Zlatan Ibrahimović tribute for Forsman & Bodenfors). He made his feature debut with "Black Crab" (2022), Netflix's third most-watched non-English film, and executive produced Amazon's "Tales from the Loop" (2020). Based in Stockholm and working with SMUGGLER globally and B-Reel Films in Scandinavia, Berg continues to push boundaries across formats.
